Science Primary School
WORKING GROUP
We are a group teachers - "TORQUE GROUP" - who are working in galician public primary schools.
In weekly meetings, we program our work, we analyze new proposals, we interchange our experiences, we designe activities, we update our knowledges and we decide the educative participation in projects and initiatives.

NOTICE:
A Torque, is a rigid piece of personal adornment made from twisted metal. It can be worn as an arm ring, a circular neck ring. Torcs are found in the Celtic culture, among others of the European Iron Age, from around the 8th century BC to the 3rd century AD. The word comes from Latin torquis (or torques), "to twist", because of the twisted shape of the collar.
But in Physics, Torque is also called “moment of a force” and it is the measure of a force's tendency to produce a rotation. The greater the torque, the greater the change.
